Hi. I'm Katie, and I'm a word person.

Professionally, I'm a copywriting chameleon and insightful strategist with nearly a decade of experience in the digital space. My work has powered record-breaking voter turnout, sent messages of hope to survivors of gun violence, helped win three gubernatorial elections and flip the Senate, and spread a feminist message from the presidential debate stage. I've even taken on the voices of three presidents: Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and "Kid President" Robby Novak. And I've done it as a proud member of some of the most incredible teams in the biz.

Beyond that, I'm still the kid who memorized the name of every crayon in Crayola's 64-pack because each one evoked such a specific hue. I'm the teammate who gets called into emergency meetings to come up with the perfect pun. The girl who used to hide out in bookstores and imagine “character bios” for everyone who walked by, and whose Voice Memo app is full of readings of her own poetry.

 

But I do what I do because my voice has never been the only one that interests me. I believe the core of good content strategy boils down to the Three Es: ears to listen, empathy to channel new perspectives, and Excel to find the patterns in your data, both qualitative and quantitative.

 

Now, I've turned those patterns into a career – bright, dynamic, creative, and full of every color from blue lagoon to burnt sienna. Let's make something beautiful together.
